and my post was based on the notion many TBers have that it means 5* or bust.
The way the sport has evolved, Mizzou should never recruit a five star basketball player unless he is literally in our back door.
You waste a lot of resources to not get them.
Once you do get them, they don't stick around long enough to make much difference.
Then when they start leaving, you are stuck in the cycle of chasing them.
We are soon to be back in an era where they may commit and then end up going straight to the NBA, which really screws you over.
As I have posted many times before, the best plan for Mizzou is to sign two 4* kids every year and one 3* kid in the 125 to 150 range.
You have talent, you have kids that will stick around, you have some kids that should be willing to except a role and not be the star, and you have a continuity of experience
