terms of common sense and "fair" trade policy. To expect to be on the "winning" side in trade agreements, as you stated. Trade agreements, if they're going to be adhered to, must allow BOTH sides to be on the winning side and perceived as fair and equal.

Also, we do NOT need to "control" the mideast to benefit from it's oil. Having a free market there is all that is needed and since arab states nearly all need oil money, we can expect to be able to buy it. (Which is why we should be doing so now when its cheap and NOT exporting our energy resources to others. Dumbest goddam thing Trump has ever done.)
