The FISA abuse may well have been done under Bush. I'm certainly prepared to believe it. But Judge Rosemary Collyer issued a lengthy opinion about the FISA abuse between 2012 and 2016 under the Obama administration after she was tipped off by Admiral Mike Rogers. Trump might simply have been the most egregious example of that abuse given the stakes. But they also targeted many others, including reporters they didn't like (Sharyl Attkisson, among others). They also played favorites and sat on actionable crimes of Hillary to get her elected because you never would have heard about the FISA abuse but/for the improbable election of Trump.
In other words, the deep state is real. And it's bi-partisan, although democrats seem better at playing that game. And you should be upset at the abuse of power using the incredible technology available to the federal government.
