O-linemen retreat back so much? If you're moving backwards, simple physics would tell me it's going to be more difficult to stop someone moving forward. Why not try to hold your ground more at the point of attack?
It doesn't make sense how it's taught...and it has always been taught this way. I get it might be a little more difficult to stop the speed rushers...but i still say it would be more effective then how it is taught now.
