I guess I would be OK with taking Brown if he is a kid that understands he may not play much as a freshman and maybe even as a sophomore. But if there are any questions about his ability to fit in with this roster and scheme, or if he's a high chance of transferring after a year we should just pass.
On the note of a midyear transfer, with the NCAA making all these rule changes to supposedly favor/help the athletes, One they should really consider is not taking a year of eligibility away from my midyear transfer. It's not very complicated to look at it as eight semesters versus pieces of four years
