if you start with the position that just because someone was on Clinton's staff, they are inherently unable to do a job dispassionately and without undue bias (which we all have to some extent), then I believe you have convinced yourself to never believe the report.
I think most will have their mind made up (pre-release) about what should happen one way or the other. I'm more interested in what they find factually. You can easily concoct scenarios about why someone is lying, but then again, in my experience, a lot of folks lie for no reason at all. It's like breathing to them.
I said early on that I would wait on the investigation and whatever Mueller found, or didn't find, would be ok - the investigation was decided on and seemed to be, for the most part, well-run. If he didn't find enough evidence to conclude that crimes were committed, I'm fine with that. I'm actually happy about that. I worry for those whose approach to life is such that they're not.
