administration is focused on wins. It is not. As a business model it is simply focused on winning more games than you lose. Barry Odom's job is not jeopardy. Basketball's success or lack thereof can be ascribed to injuries. Both teams still play hard.
Your argument is with the 'mediocre is okay model'. Many athletic departments follow that golden rule.
