Rather than being consumed with wealth accumulation in my 50's, I'm trying to find any way I can to enjoy the last decade in which i can expect a true, full, vigorously active life rather than spending it stressed at work.
My wife and I can be simple folks and not have to spend a fortune in retirement; you only get one trip around this thing and I don't want to wait until I'm 70 to do things.
It seems like too many folks die with far too much unspent, too many things not lived.
Just taking hikes and driving places on the cheap are enticing - and cheap.
