Again, if Jontay Porter was healthy this year we would be 5 to 6 wins better than we are right now. Everyone would be praising Martin as some kind of genius and wish we would have hired him from MO State years ago.
If MPJ were 100% last year we might have won the SEC and been a legit FF contender. Everyone would be calling for Cuonzo to get a lifetime contract.
The only player actually playing from the #3 recruiting class in the nation two years ago is Tilmon. If you want to fault Cuonzo on anything it's not getting any immediate impact players in the 2018 recruiting class and not doing a better job recruiting a point guard in the 2017 class. Cuonzo really needs to hit a home run in the 2020 class at this point.
