10-15 year career in MLB if he has the talent that everyone says he does.
I will be surprised if he makes it through his rookie contract in the NFL. I do not think he has the arm and size to make it as a purely drop back passer, he has to use his mobility to be effective. I do not think he has the body to stand up to that pounding for long.
When given the option of NFL or MLB it is almost always smarter in the long run to play baseball. They tend to have longer careers and all baseball contracts are guaranteed.
