An open and honest discussion on race cannot exist in the current atmosphere. Opinions and expressions that are not politically correct will be shunned, and the person offering them will be subject to banishment.

I also agree with the author, stating that the black man was hired as an affirmative action effort was rude. It it may or may not be true, but when you personalize comments like that, they become… Personal.
It may or may not be true. The black man wanted, excepted, and demanded lower standards as he said that he should have been hired because he is black. What kind of a load of crap is that.
To disagree with that is racist.
This is where we are today. Anything that strays outside the narrowly defined and confining boundaries of political correctness, is racist. You are not allowed to disagree. And yet the idiots demand an open and honest conversation about race.
