Without eminent domain no public works project could ever be done or it if were I-70 between KC and STL would be a 350 mile road winding all over the state.
Roads, bridges, and yes, the border wall all all valid uses of eminent domain. A new shopping mall is not in my opinion.
I'm sure that different people have different opinions of what market value should be but if the government is taking land that you do not wish to sell then I think you should get well above market value for it.
