I don't know why you're introducing assumptions by me that I didn't make, or if they're coming from people you know, or if you're creating them from the generic 'liberals, socialists, and marxists' pool so that you have something to rail against.

I just know that if I wanted to change people's minds, I'd start with why a wall has merits, and I'd definitely stay away from the feigned victimhood that if I support the wall, I must be immoral.

I am against the wall for a number of reasons, but one is that it would be incredibly ineffective. Walls can be circumvented by ladders and scaffolding, or tunnels, or dynamite, and the maintenance required to maintain it seems incredibly wasteful.
