He was next in line for the Golden State job had Steve Kerr taken the Knicks job instead. Now the same Golden State brass that wanted him is helping the UCLA AD make the choice. And his agent or agent's boss is a UCLA grad/booster. With that said, I still think he is going to wait until a different NBA gig opens that is interested in him and vice versa. He had zero chance to win in Chicago. They did nothing to build a roster he could win with and did not sign pieces that fit his style. I think someone else will give him a chance.
