The basketball budget at UCLA has been nowhere close to other blueblood schools. UCLA has been spending more like Mizzou than an Arizona, Duke, Kentucky or kansas.

To steal Holtman or Bennett might cost them $10 million/year.

Hoiberg and Musselman are probably worth $6 million/year. That’s double what they have been spending. They will need to spend way more on assistants also.
