But because something does not affect you personally, or does not mean anything to you, personally, does not mean that you don’t have an opinion on it.
Do you have a moral position on any of those issues? Not that it needs to affect you personally, and it in as much as it does not, you may offer a more objective opinion than others, me included.
For example, is affirmative action a good moral and ethical position for a government to take?
For example, what did you think about the mass murder of Jews in World War II?
I doubt that that affected you in the slightest. Certainly you have an opinion.
Or the genocide going on in various parts of the world today. Or about Islamic terrorism.
As an informed bystander, with no dog in this fight, certainly you must have an opinion on those issues of the day.
