First, there has never been a time when the majority of significant supporters were pushing for joining the B1G. There was a small, but vocal group of STL boosters in the late 80’s early 90’s that tried to push it , but they were a small minority and aside from a lot of noise it was never a serious consideration. Secondly, the latest B1G issue was dead on arrival because of the jr. membership-no serious discussions were ever undertaken. Once again there was some support from STL folks, but just as in the past heavy hitters from every other part of the state and the three most significant STL supporters were against joining the B1G, but very supportive of joining the SEC.With all due respect your information on this is seriously wrong
