If you read Flynn's answers, stating he lied is a stretch. He was extremely vague and general in his answers.

That still doesn't address Comey's unusual actions, and his belief he could get away with anything. It really sounds like Comey, along with the FBI/DOJ, had it out for Flynn for political reasons.
