of this distinction, when you're too fuc king stupid to realize the third scenario: denying someone a life jacket when they ASK FOR IT....well, I guess there's a fourth - telling someone they can't have a life jacket when they show up wearing a life jacket.

In Flynn's case, he should have either showed up for any meeting with his attorney (without asking the FBI), or 2) advised the FBI that counsel would be present.
