I'd still rank Chase Daniel and Brad Smith ahead of Lock for their overall impact on the program at the time they played. Lock has individual stats, not wins.
The Matty Mauk/Protest situation torpedoed HCGP & the 2015 season which in turn destroyed 2016.
OL-7/10 back. Your assertion that over half is gone is wrong.
Recruiting KS, Iowa, Illinois, NE & Iowa has certainly been a HUGE success for Nebraska, K-State, KU & Illinois huh? Going to Texas, Tenn, Fl, Ga etc has proven to provide better players. We are doing pretty damn well in KC & STL right now.
Petrino sucks and thus is out of a job. You're wrong again.
Who gives a flying F$%&^ about storming the field and tearing down goalposts? When you've beaten Georgia, Florida, Ole Miss, Arkansas etal. when they were ranked is different than breaking a 30+ year losing streak to Nebraska.
We won a close game on the road against Purdue and a close game against Vandy, plus blowing the doors off of a Memphis team playing for their conference championship, and a ranked Florida team on the road.
I won't even go through the offer sheets on our recruits, but suffice it to say, we got kids who had plenty of other prestigious offers-both this year and last.
Pinkel & his last team left the program in absolute shambles. Not only the football team, but the entire University is just now beginning to recover from 2015.
If we give HCBO time, we will be a solid, competitive, hard nosed, tough team for years to come.
