was a weak conference in terms of metrics and we had a poor finish in conference play.

We beat teams from the B1G, ACC, PAC 12, Big 12, Mountain West, Mo Valley, and Big West that year in addition to the SEC schedule. Our NIT bid was due to a poor SEC regular season finish.
