The third down and two to go call in the UK game told me a lot about Odom's in-game coaching competence. His ridiculous explanation for it in his post-game comments to media told me something about his character. I am not sold on Odom now, I was not happy about his hiring and have found his in-game decisions in several close losses puzzling. I don't want to start over, but keeping Odom is settling for mediocrity.
