that they don't have the sack totals, but are swarming up front, pushing the pocket and keeping opposing offenses off balance. Linebacker play has been excellent.
Optically, they play with a lot of physicality and heart. I love that aspect. They don't quit regardless of the score. It's a great trait in a defense and can make a huge difference in performance. Not all defenses, even ones with great players, play that way and that's really about coaching.
Secondary is still bad and depending on the push up front, gets exposed bad at times. We saw this especially against Georgia and Alabama.
The schedule this year, as noted, has been brutal and I wonder what our defensive numbers would look like if you subbed in two other teams vs. 'Bama and UGA. Probably even better.
