a stake in his financial future. Like Wildcat said and others, he's an underwhelming athlete now with repaired ACL and MCL. Those surgeries aren't a big deal these days, save for jumping ability which he doesn't have anyway. Unless there's some assurances from NBA GMs that he just needs to rehab and will be a surefire 1st rounder (which is impossible to say but probably unlikely), then there's no way in Hell he goes in for the 2nd round. Rehab this year and dominate mostly non-NBA kids for another year in college. Then go be a plodding 6'11" perimeter player for hopefully over a decade.
