He is feisty and tough, and I think will be remembered fondly when all is said and done. That said, he was offered a scholarship at Mizzou during the only modern era when that would have been remotely possible. He would make a solid bench guard in the SEC (which is better than expected.) We need far better athletes and playmakers to compete at a higher level. In normal times, he and CVL would have been walk-ons but Geist in particular has busted his ass and proved worthy of being a scholarship player. Not to say CVL didn’t bust his ass but he was simply playing way above class....
