off a bit. I'm assuming you are poking at those that have criticized Geist over the last couple of years? I think most would agree he's a solid player. I would contend he is better suited for the off guard position. Kudos to him for playing out of position IMO. Not based on his height but he isn't the quickest player on the court and has not shown much ability to get in to the paint or defend good point guards. He is tough as hell and I certainly admire his grit. It's just not his natural position and he does occasionally lose his composure. Doesn't mean he won't be good this year but based on what I've seen, he will have to improve dramatically at a position that is not natural to him. Just my thoughts.
