I have no interest in a mass welfare state.

I think borders should be used to be able to do basic inspections (mainly around disease and agriculture goods that will not harm our own people/agriculture).

If they do direct harm to people...murder, theft, rape, etc., they should be treated just as a US criminal would be treated.

If they come here seeking a job and they can negotiate terms with an employer, kudos to them.

If they come here seeking medical treatment, and they come to terms with the medical provider, good for them.
