Lost my voice for three days from all the yelling I did. Thought my fraternity brother and I were going to get rolled leaving Legion Field, but the 'Bama fans were so stunned, they just walked away from the stadium like zombies.

Another star of that game was Tony Galbreath, who ran over and through the Tide defense like a man among boys. There's one photo of him running through the middle of Alabama's defense and virtually towering over their LBs and DBs.

Of course, 'Bama was still almost all white, even at that point in time, and I think our black players showed up with a huge chip on their shoulders.

Ahhh, the good old days. I don't expect the same results on Saturday.
