Standards are pretty low here.
This team does have question marks, but overall it is very experienced, competitive talent, has a senior QB that is probably the best pro prospect we've ever had at QB, and supposedly has the staff harmony they've been looking for.
To not win at least one more game (only looking at regular seasons) is a disappointment.
We are predicted/favored to win 8 and the o/u is 6.5 to account for national perception (not reality) and Mizzou's national perception is never all that high.
The expectation for this season needs to be 8 wins. If things go very well for us, 9 or 10 are not impossible. If things go poorly for us, a disappointing 7 wins is possible, and a sign of being stuck in mediocrity for the foreseeable future.
6 wins is a failure and we should be looking for a new coach, but we can't and we're stuck for at least a few more years.
