... I think turf toe, that I am guessing never did leave him alone. He was not really very quick in terms of first step and not very fast top-end, so why was he always open? He knew how to position his body to BE open.
If not for the injury, I think he would have stuck in the NFL and had a very good career.
Tommy Sanders also had amazing hands ... not many slots for a smallish guy who runs a 4.8 in the NFL though ...
