If we limit that definition to players who could develop by their junior seasons to be a starter, or a significant contributor off the bench as a sixth or even seventh man, on a legitimately competitive team able to finish in the top half of the SEC, KA brought in only two who didn’t quit on him: Jordan Barnett (transfer and by far his best recruit), and Puryear (who barely qualifies). Mitchell Smith still has an outside chance but that is only if Cuonzo develops him.
