Jeez what opponents boards are you talking about? Heck I was picking a Victory against WVU in Odoms first season on their board. Same with the SC board. Now last year I rarely went to a opponents board outside of Hogville. I called that game a Push chance because both coaches are sub Par.
Besides I'm not bashing MU I'm just pointing out the obvious short comings of the Head coach and his continued lack of ability to field a well coached squad.
I'm not using demeaning statements in my analysis at all.
I get it you don't like the facts or truth...I understand you want things to play out the way you want and to see the positives of winning 6 games in a row. The only positives I see from that streak is THANK GOD those teams where a hot steaming pile of garbage and we where holding it together a bit better and we had a winning season.
I'm thankful for that but I don't have any faith, respect or hope for the guy leading our Program. I hope that changes because the day he was hired I was pumped I thought he was the Man, the guy who would lead us to the next level. I thought he would be everything GP was but he would fix GP faults....clearly I was in error and was using my heart to analyze ODOM as opposed to logic.
I'm not making that mistake now. Until he proves he can actually field a competent squad versus Legit teams and at least look like a average coach...I will continue to be a huge skeptic.
I think Odom could improve and be a good coach if he would put aside his hubris and his I'm the smartest coach in the room attitude. Maybe he's learned his lesson but until I see it I have HUGE DOUBTS.
