It's still worthwhile for a young Mizzou coach like BO to try and "mend" the relationship with DJ. Yes 35 years is a long time and things will never be good but any positive in roads with DJ's influence and others in the STL community is a positive gain. Not even trying to build a relationship with him is a step backwards and doesn't do any good. Even if BO opens a few doors, it may not produce a lot of results, but it is necessary to help improve STL recruiting.
