I did not state that the dems were perfect, only that in some key moments they stick with trying to do the right thing. Sure there are fckups

I am not hear to defend the Democrats.

My OP was just a considered observation. When votes were being tallied in FL, GOP staffers flew there and dressed up like "outraged locals" to bang on the doors demanding that they stop counting. Gore wanted a clean win. Bush and Baker simply wanted the win.

The same thing is basically playing out here. Dems don't learn.
