if you listen to him closely he's high on Martin because it solves a "problem" for Mizzou. It's a backhanded compliment that keeps the issue stoked indirectly.
I remember him doing a feature on Norm Stewart when we went to the Elite 8. Our first 9 guys that year all happened to be black and Cusamano had to end the feature with "Even though he (Stewart) has little in common culturally with his players the bond is there." Good grief. Can't they just be coaches and players?
