with a lot of seniority, but those working in hospitals often have to work late shifts, weekends and holidays. In many hospitals those shifts rotate, which is allegedly hard on a person's internal clock.

From what I have read, people on those types of schedules have more difficulty sleeping, more stress, more health problems and more accidents.
