LSU beats Alabama, by 1 point, at home, in OT.
If they lose that game, they finish all alone in 7th place and get the 7 seed. By winning, they end up in a 4 way tie for 4th place, and somehow win the 4 team tiebreaker over clearly better Tennessee, TAMU, and Missouri teams, for the 4 seed.
I think 5 seed TAMU now has a cakewalk to a semifinal matchup with Miss State. I think they handle LSU on a neutral court handily.
