I have always talked about the top 6 teams in the SEC vs the bottom 7. Not the top 7 teams. That leaves out LSU, deliberately. They are the 7th best team in the SEC. The top 6 are the ones who have been in both the top 16 'reveals' by the selection committee. They are the ones who compiled the 43-0 record before UTs loss last night.
LSU has actually lost twice against the bottom half of the SEC, the first time was against Alabama on Jan 11. So last weeks loss to Auburn was their 2nd against the bottom half. And they nearly lost several more, beating UK by only 2 points and Auburn by only 3 earlier.
So not to worry. You aren't 'that guy'. At least not this time:)
