by Alabama, broke the streak of top 6 SEC teams against the lower half of the conference, the worst 7 teams.
Before Tennessee lost at home last night, the top 6 SEC teams were 43-0 against the bottom 7. Yes, there have been a few close calls along the way, including Mizzou barely scraping by Florida and Kentucky at home recently, but still, 43-0 shows how good the top 6 teams are and how mediocre the bottom half is.
Now that record is 43-1. It will most likely be 52-1 by the end of the regular season. That's pretty astonishing.
What isn't astonishing is that UT is the ranked SEC team that blew that perfect record. Tennessees coach probably gets the least out of her players than any other top 25 team. They are loaded, but constantly underachieve against lesser competition. They are undisciplined and unfocused and unmotivated. Everything that Mizzou is not.
And yes, we will beat them on Sunday. While they have the talent to whip us on our home floor, we save our greatest performances for ranked teams that come to our house.
