At the start, I noticed Barnett wasn't just sitting on the perimeter, but driving in to take 15 foot jumpers. He did disappear mostly in the 2nd half, however. But he was solid on defense.
Geist played a great game. His high level of effort got him a bunch of rebounds, and I thought he played within himself.
You're right about Nikko too - he gave us some really valuable minutes. His best game so far.
Honestly, I thought CVL did okay in his expanded role. Because of our roster issues, he is going to have to play, and he seemed "less bad" than he was under KA. Hits most wide open 3s, okay on defense in the half court, handled the ball well enough to hold his own. All of this against one of the most athletic teams in the SEC (right up there with Auburn, Arky and UK, in that regard).
