which is intended to benefit the animals, and is key in keeping the animal population healthy.
There is an annual kill to keep the deer population vibrant and healthy. I'm wondering how this is different, other than who would be doing the killing. If the horses are killed and the meat harvested, it serves dual purposes. If they do this, I think the profit should go towards funding the land and the wildlife on it.
I had a horse when I was young. I have never considered horses a nuisance. But I don't see that claims of wiping out horses is a legitimate claim. I see it as similar to management of the deer population, which is a good thing.
