The immigration act, as I explained above this post, was formulated by a conservative Ohio congressman, Michael Feighan, AND a democrat incidentally and the bill was signed by Lyndon Johnson in 1965. Its purpose was to maintain nearly all white immigrants.

Please give me your thoughts on what I just said. Oh, and read the article "The Curious History of Chain Migration" in today's WSJ. And try to, for a change, LEARN SOMETHING.
