and 18,500 businesses in the U.S. with 500 employees or more.

Your sample size is myopic and useless.

How about we say 5000+ large businesses announce they are going to do that and maybe 8 million small businesses jump in the pool?

Isn't happening. We don't have a trained workforce with 4% unemployment to support that kind of growth.

Companies will look outside the U.S for that skilled labor force.
