To make it meaningful they need to take measures to stop local monopolies and insure that market forces are at play.

Ask yourself a simple question. Why does Google Fiber have the same pricing plan in every city they service but TWC, or I guess it is Spectrum now, prices by market? Could it be that everywhere Google serves has other options so they are offering a competitive price to all while Spectrum is only offering competitive service to those it has to?

Ending Net Neutrality pushes government regulation back a bit. We need to complete the job and let the free market prevail.
