may possibly make it more likely, not less likely that he stays. Made it sound like it probably won't affect the decision either way and it's all about the draft grade but I thought that was interesting.
Both Bernie and Gabe then were talking about Heupel's reputation for being somewhat hard to get along with and crabby. Gabe said he and Matter heard that from OU writers when Heupel came to Mizzou but that he personally did not find Heupel to be difficult.
Seems like there's more to that though. Enough people talk about Heupel's personality that it seems that a lot of people in Columbia won't miss him all that much.
Anyway, final thing said was that if Lock leaves look for Odom to go hunting for a graduate transfer. Foster said he's definitely not coming since Josh left and that Martinez bumped Mizzou for an NU visit when Frost offered so that's probably not going to pan out.
Gabe said that if Lock stays then Mizzou will probably go back to looking for a HS QB recruit but that Heupel was the exclusive QB recruiter.
Interesting discussion I thought.
