Cal was a big disappointment last year finishing 5th in the PAC, missing the NCAA tourney, and losing at home to Cal Bakersfield in the first round of the NIT. This was after making the tourney in CM's second year and losing to #13 seed Hawaii in the first round.
I think Cal's current performance isn't much different than how they finished last year.
