Let's face it: Odom does NOT have the "it" factor

Especially on TV. He comes off as dull, somewhat sullen, not very personable, etc., etc., etc. Most great coaches have some sort of memorable personality trait. For Saban, it's his intensity. For others, it's their enthusiasm. And others win you over with their sincerity (like Dan Devine), intelligence or wit. Frankly, Odom has none of those traits, at least in his interviews. Yeah, he seems like a nice enough guy, but not someone who would make a lasting impression on you compared to all the other coaches out there.
