It was dependent on firing Anderdson, who we would hire to replace him, Sterk’s commitment to the program, etc. It was in play during the season. The Porter Family wanted any reason to come home and we delivered. They hated it in Seattle and loved Columbia. It was really as simple as that. I can’t speak for UW, but assume they fired Romar when he lost the Porters on top of being a terrible head coach.
