Orukpe, a 7' Nigerian was "placed" at Three Rivers CC for two years to get his academics in order(AA degree). Wichita State placed him there with the understanding that he would redshirt a year, play a year, then transfer to WSU for Three years.

While E.O. was a bit of a flop at both schools, 3R has had some success bringing in kids who were either raw or needed a year of physical growth and conditioning to be a factor.

The best example is Sunday Adebayo. He was overweight when he showed up there, but after a redshirt year, he helped lead them to two top 5 finishes in the national tournament, was a first team AA his soph year, and had a nice career for the Razorbacks.
