paying for. By comparison, look at Iowa State. They pay Matt Campbell less than we pay BO, yet they just beat #3 Oklahoma in Norman. Meanwhile, BO got blasted at home by Purdue.

$2.5 million per year SHOULD afford you a legitimate D-1 head coach who can reach a bowl game, or at least be able to stay within 30 points of Purdue at home.

I agree with your point, however, that it's not enough to compete in the SEC. We should be spending $5+ million per year on the next head coach, if that's what it takes.
